Is there any real evidence that Christianity is under attack in today's world?

There's so many preachers I know who keep preaching that their religion is under the attack in today's world. How can this be so when Christianity is one of the dominating religion? How is this so, when evangelist are spreading the "word"? Do they consider it an "attack" when some people rejected the "word"?
